Sometimes I'm just dumb lucky...this morning I went for a hike on the foggy bluffs of the Driftless Region. Minding my feet so as to not trip, I made my way out to rock cropping to take a photo of the morning fog. I turned around to see if anyone was watching me from the park above, and lo and behold, I noticed this bird of prey directly behind me.
I somehow managed to walk directly beneath it without noticing it (typical me), and was surprised that I missed this beautiful bird. I zoomed in a bit for an attempt at a closeup...
Then I head back to walk beneath it...still, the bird did not fly away. Taking the opportunity with Pixel 7 Pro camera, I snapped a few more photos...not bad for phone camera!
I literally walked to a point to take landscapes, and instead was fortunate to photograph this magnficent bird. What a lucky day! Thanks for checking out my photograhy...this is my first share in #amazingnature for some time. Hopefully more to come soon.
