My entry for the Monomad challenge created by 
I found this is a nearby graveyard; it's a beautiful marble and copper monument to a historic founding family of the area. I liked the backdrop of the forest immediately behind it it on a cloudless day. From what I can find online, this monument was constructed in 1913. I wanted to draw the shadows out more on this one, but the tone was too dark for me..,so I opted for a more etheric sensibility.
