My entry for the #monomad challenge.
The Kinstone Megalithic Garden is sort of known as the Stonehenge of Wisconsin. Located in Fountain City, the garden is located on 30 acres of land in the Driftless area. It features a number of large stones retrieved from various quarries in the area; a lot of the structures were aligned to be in tune with our sun's solstices and equinoxes.
Not all of it was spiritual and esoteric...we had to have some fun too.
Overall, it's a beautiful location to visit. I'm looking forward to coming back and visiting during the next solar holiday. Lots of fun should ensue!
