My entry for the #monomad challenge.
I love old river town alleys. We don't have a lot of Western history in this part of the world, but the little we do seems to be hidden in old areas of the city. This alley is pretty old and nestled between a couple of buildings built in the late 1800's. It's not much, but I'm highly certain this small area of the world has seen it all.
Gangsters, bootleggers, bank robbers, cowboys, the James gang...you name it, and this river town has seen it. I'm sure this alley has been graced with the likes of all of the above over time...as well as the occasional drunk, lovers, or even me, on a random photowalk. The area below here has an old tunnel; maybe I'll have the good fortune to access to something like that one day, too.
Old and new...always fun to find mixed together.
And just like that, I've passed through like thousands before me...if not tens of thousands. It makes me want to find the next old alleyway to spend time in.
