Nothing feels better than having your six year old daughter complain about having to go on a hike...only to see her then have an absolute fantastic time on said hike. Such was the situation yesterday; not only was it a beautiful day, but it was also a perfect day to pull out the Canon T7 and my new 50 mm lens to experiment with.
I was hoping for more reds on our hike, but honestly, it was only a lot of yellows. I don't know if it is due to the dry summer we had or not or what...but still, such lovely colors to take in (and photograph, of course).
I didn't edit these whatsoever; the hope was to see what the new lens and light yesterday could do. I do hope to get out for another round of photographs yet this week.
