The starling; a bird that is quite prevalent in this area. On our Sunday morning dad/hattie bird watch patrol from the back window, we spotted this interesting looking bird. I thought, "huh, I wonder what that is..." So we then grabbed our field guide, found the bird with the spots, and discovered it was a starling. Starlings, apparently, are invasive pests and quite aggressive birds. Thanks to a NYC enlightened bunch a long time ago, they are everywhere in the US. Why? Well, this enlightened bunch took it upon themselves to introduce all birds mentioned in the works of Shakespeare to be shipped overseas and brought to North America. Thanks Billy!
