HiveSuite Development Update: Firebase Analytics, Toast Cleanup & Mobile UI Improvements
HiveSuite
Firebase Analytics Tracking
Page & Feed Tracking
Firebase Analytics tracking has been expanded across HiveSuite to provide better visibility into how users navigate through the application.
Analytics have been added for major pages and feed experiences, helping identify which areas of HiveSuite receive the most engagement and how users move between different sections of the platform.
This provides useful data for understanding overall application usage and can support future improvements to navigation, performance, and feature discoverability.
Content Tracking
Content-level analytics have also been added across multiple HiveSuite media and publishing formats.
The application now tracks views and interactions related to:
- Shorts
- Videos
- Blogs
- Snaps
- Podcasts
This creates a broader picture of how different content types are being consumed across HiveSuite.
With this information available through analytics, future development can be guided by actual usage patterns while continuing to improve the experience for Hive users and content creators.
Game Tracking
Game-related analytics have also been introduced.
HiveSuite now tracks important gameplay events including:
- Game starts
- Game results
- Player scores
- Match recap shares
This allows the gaming section of HiveSuite to better understand player engagement and how gameplay connects with the social side of the platform.
Tracking recap shares is particularly useful because it helps measure how gameplay activity turns into content that can be shared with the wider Hive community.
User Action Tracking
Important user actions across HiveSuite are now covered by analytics tracking.
The tracked actions include:
- Posts
- Comments
- Polls
- Votes
- Reblogs
- Follows
- Login
- Logout
These events provide a more complete understanding of how users interact with HiveSuite beyond simple page views.
Together, page, content, game, and user-action tracking establish a stronger analytics foundation for the application and provide better insight into real-world usage.

HiveSuite Toast Messages Cleanup
Removing Unnecessary “Inspired by” Messages
All “Inspired by” toast messages have been removed across the application.
These messages were no longer necessary in the regular user experience, and removing them helps keep the interface focused on the actual actions and information that matter to users.
Removing “Powered by” Messages
All relevant “Powered by” toast messages have also been removed from the application.
This cleanup reduces unnecessary interruptions while navigating through HiveSuite and creates a more consistent interaction experience across different pages and features.
localStorage Toast Tracker Cleanup
The cleanup also included the related localStorage toast trackers.
Removing these trackers ensures that the application no longer maintains unnecessary local state for toast messages that are no longer part of the user experience.
This keeps the related implementation cleaner and avoids carrying obsolete toast-related data forward.

Mobile Navigation Improvement
Support Us Option Hidden on Android & iOS
The “Support Us” option in the left drawer menu has been hidden for both Android and iOS versions of HiveSuite.
This change helps keep the mobile navigation focused on the features and actions most relevant to users while maintaining the existing desktop experience.
The adjustment also contributes to a cleaner and more focused mobile drawer, particularly on smaller screens where navigation space is limited.
By applying the change specifically to Android and iOS, the mobile experience can remain streamlined without unnecessarily changing the navigation behavior of other platforms.
