trip to kannatal

My another journey begun with my same old friend, trikansh sharma and two members of haridwar photography club. trikansh is a photographer, He won 3days and 3 night stay in kannatal , near by tehri dam , uttrakhand, india. I was at my home ,rudrapur . suddenly his call come and he say that “bhai mai 3days and 2 night ka trip to kannatal jeet gya”. I said congrats bhai , then he asked me to with him, I said yes. So here comes my #3rd journey story.

Trip to kannatal

Kanatal is a small village in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Kanatal is 78 km from Dehradun (capital of the State Uttarakhand), 38 km from Mussoorie and 12 km from Chamba.
We started our journey from rishikesh. Early Morning at 7:00 am by scooty. we reached chamba. Around 9:00am. then we moved towards Kanatal. While travelling we we seen many amazing things around us. Like caves which were really deap. We tried to explore but we didn’t go to far inside it. Road side river, there we clicked some photos and of nature. It was a month of feb , so it was cold out there. The temperature here hovers between 5-8 degrees Celsius, when we checked, it presents a mesmerizing sight of snow carpeted grounds. On side of road we can see the snow. It was my first to see real snow so I was exited there. We continued our journey then we stop at our destination pahadi house, kannatal. Where we have to stay.We have rest there ,

than we move upwards to the hill. To capture the sun set, as we were moving up so the route was not appropriate means it was really thin it was hard to make balance to go up there. But any how we reached and started taking photos.

than we came back, I cant explain that it was soo good that I cant express that by words. Dinner (out side the room)+ bonfire (out side the room)

the beauty of Kanatal cannot be matched as it is set amidst majestic forests of pine, deodar trees, magnificent rhododendrons, fruit-bearing apple trees, terrace farms intricately carved along hill sides, chirping birds all around and the fresh and invigorating mountain air.

Next we woke up at 8:00am and we proceeded to the next destination Kodia Jungle is 1 km away on the road towards kannatal . It is a very nice picnic spot. A level walk of 7 to 8 km will show dense forests opening into a vast expanse of undulating hills and valleys. Tiny, gurgling natural springs are along the way. You could spot a few wild animals and many birds. We did capture some of the birds.

Then we came back to the pahadi house we were so tired it was around 6:00pm we have wlaked a lot so we went to take a nap for a movement , then our cook came at 8:00pm that sir dinner is ready would like to take it now or after some time. Then we brint it now only, as we were tired and hungry too.

Next day we went to tehri dam, first we travelled around 14 km to chamba then tehri dam. Tehri Dam at New Tehri is quite famous. This dam is built on the confluence of River Bhagirathi and Bhilangna and make for an interesting visit. While at New Tehri, also visit the Pant Research Institute where fruits and plants are grown. We missed the chance to see the water sports which starts at 8am and end at 11am because we were stoping movement by movement to see the scenes of road. we took some snapshots. And finally we reached it was as I thought but it feels good to see all the things which were going there, like people from different countries have gathered there.

it was grate trip i will suggest u to visit there because i have not explained the whole story.. here..
