Now that we are in quarantine, we have plenty of time to learn many things. Cleaning at home, I found several cartons of eggs and thought about throwing them in the trash, then I began to think how useful these cartons are and I came up with the idea of using them to make seedbeds.
This biodegradable material is a very economical option, they are very easy to obtain and at the same time we put our little grain of sand to avoid further deterioration of the environment.
I remembered that I had pumpkin at home, so I selected some seeds, washed them to eliminate their residues and I put them to dry in the leftover for 3 days.
To make this pumpkin seedbed at home, you need:
- Fertilized land.
- Plastic spoon.
- Water.
- Egg paperboard.
- Seeds.
We start by adding the fertilized soil to the cardboard.
Place the pumpkin seeds with the pointed side down.
We cover the seeds with the earth and add water.
We place our seedbed in a cool place and where there is clarity, we cover so that the humidity remains and water with water every day.
Giving biodegradable materials a new use turns out to be a very beneficial activity both for us and for the environment.
