Greetings to my friends steemans...
It belongs to the family of the echinoids and is one of the strangest animals we can find. Currently there are more than 900 different species (their color and size vary).
The thickness of its barbs varies according to the species. The most poisonous spines are the smallest, causing redness and even ulcers on the skin.
Sea urchins can not see, but they are experts in distinguishing light and that is what helps them orient themselves.
