My husband fulfilled one more year of life, it is a very important day for our family. Turning one year of life is a reason to celebrate and especially to thank God for this great gift that is life, but due to the COVID-19 virus, we cannot meet with family and friends to celebrate this special day; so my son and I were the only guests on this wonderful occasion.
About 1 month ago I bought several things to surprise my husband and together with my son who is my great accomplice, we surprised him. We bought her gifts, I made her an arrangement with candy and balloons and a small decoration.
Traditionally I would go to a friend to bake my husband's cake, but this year due to COVID-19 we couldn't go, so together we decided to prepare the cake in house. We chose to make it chocolate because that is her favorite cake. I also prepared some cookies, some truffles and an aubergine cream to accompany it with bread.
Finally, after we had eaten cookies, truffles and bread with aubergine cream, we sang birthdays; The cake was very delicious.
The objective was achieved, we surprised the birthday boy and we had a very pleasant time.
