MOON Overview with chrome-v1.2 top bar and left nav
Weeknotes from inside MOON. Not a changelog dump — the bits that actually change how it feels to play.

Push that shows up

Mobile install and Web Push got a real pass this week. Lobby and game now meet Chrome’s PWA install criteria. Building finishes notify. Research finishes notify (coalesced so you don’t get a spam burst). Delivery was hardened after FCM accepted payloads that never painted on the phone — retries, subscribe hardening, cache-bust on the subscribe script, and a push-test path that actually proves visibility.

If you already granted notifications and still see silence, hard refresh once and re-check Options. We’re still chasing edge cases; report them in Discord if a finish never taps your screen.

Chrome and the left rail

Artist shipped chrome-v1.2: top bar, sidebar, mobile drawer. Short viewports can scroll to Logout again. Left nav got product work, not just paint:

  • Shipyard and Defenses live together
  • Resources, Market, and Ship Merchant moved under Advanced (ranked on purpose)
  • FAQ sits with Basics; Forum dropped; community tools under Administration
  • Mobile load pass on Overview, Galaxy, Messages, Fleet

Hard refresh if your menu looks like last week’s screenshot. It probably is.

Small UX that removes a “wait, where?”

  • Technologies sorts earliest unlocks first, and the game nudges you toward that page when Shipyard isn’t unlocked yet

  • Messages pagination is back at top and bottom

  • Empire / Imperium matrix and the empire page 404 got fixed

  • Topnav resource ticker stays live at and over storage cap, and updates after you queue ships

  • Combat reports open in the same tab for PWA back, and show game menus when you’re logged in

  • Install Moon banner no longer sits under Options / Logout

Gameplay beat

Black Moon fleets can Destroy moons now. Thats the one systems change that isn’t chrome.

Also: Discord invite on the site was stale; it’s replaced. Galaxy player menus came back after a playercard homeworld link regression. Register / FAQ / spy-report copy / alliance-name HTML on Statistics — a QA batch landed mid-week so the lobby doesn't lie to new commanders.

What this week wasnt

Not a feature-list parade. Mostly: phone that behaves like a phone, chrome that matches the art direction, and a menu that matches how people actually play. Uni 1 is still the long room. Seasons still wipe on their clock. Hive still why we built it here.

If something in this list feels wrong on your account, say so — shop talk beats silent screenshots.
