Exposición botánica y música (Esp/Ing)

Atendiendo la invitación de mi profesora Adriana Cabrera y de mi amigo el cantante José Alejandro Moreno, visité la casa Ramos Sucre donde se realizó una exposición botánica a cargo de Tomás Toledo, evento que fue amenizado por la Orquesta Municipal de Cumaná.

At the invitation of my teacher Adriana Cabrera and my friend the singer José Alejandro Moreno, I visited the Ramos Sucre house where a botanical exhibition was held by Tomás Toledo, an event that was enlivened by the Municipal Orchestra of Cumaná.

Admito mi sorpresa al contemplar en vivo una colección de bonsáis, sin duda, la naturaleza es fascinante, estos pequeños árboles al cual algunas culturas relacionan con el equilibrio sensorial y la buen fortuna. Pasé un buen rato detallando cada bonsái, han aplicado buenas técnicas para cultivarlos, pues lucían saludables y de tamaños acordes con la maceta donde estaban plantados. No pude evitar relacionarlos con la saga de películas Karate Kid y el personaje del Maestro Miyagi, puesto que allí observé por vez primera un árbol de tan particulares dimensiones.

I admit my surprise when I saw a live collection of bonsais, undoubtedly, nature is fascinating, these small trees which some cultures relate to sensory balance and good fortune. I spent a good time detailing each bonsai, they have applied good techniques to cultivate them, because they looked healthy and of sizes in accordance with the pot where they were planted. I could not help but relate them to the Karate Kid movie saga and the character of Master Miyagi, since there I observed for the first time a tree of such particular dimensions.

Así que esta tradición milenaria de origen asiático ha estado presente en el suelo cumanés y es ahora cuando me entero. El resto de la exposición también fue muy interesante, una selección de hermosas flores y de curiosos cactus fue dispuesta a lo largo del pasillo principal del recinto, en tanto en la parte de atrás se ubicó a la orquesta, cuyo sonido es impecable.

So this millenary tradition of Asian origin has been present in the soil of Cumana and it is now when I find out. The rest of the exhibition was also very interesting, a selection of beautiful flowers and curious cactus was arranged along the main corridor of the enclosure, while in the back was located the orchestra, whose sound is impeccable.

Iniciaron la sesión con música cajonera, al mejor estilo de los Antaños del Estadio, luego interpretaron Pasodobles, dejando para el final varios temas de salsa, provenientes del repertorio de la Dimensión Latina y de Ismael Rivera, justamente en este set intervino José Alejandro, quien cantó e improviso con soltura, para el deleite de todos los presentes.

They began the session with cajonera music, in the best style of the Antaños del Estadio, then performed Pasodobles, leaving for the end several salsa songs, from the repertoire of Dimensión Latina and Ismael Rivera, precisely in this set José Alejandro intervened, who sang and improvised with ease, to the delight of all present.

La vida es esto, disfrutar momentos inolvidables a diario, instantes que nos alejan de una cotidianidad que nos consume. Ese día resultó muy satisfactorio y por tal razón quiero compartirlo con ustedes.

This is what life is all about, enjoying unforgettable moments every day, moments that take us away from a daily routine that consumes us. That day turned out to be very satisfying and for that reason I want to share it with you.
