Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's birthday. She became 8 years old. And of course we had invited friends, family and acquaintances. My wife and I do not celebrate our own birthdays, but of course our daughter's. She is always so nervous for the gifts. Everything is about that happy face of her.
Like @exyle in his post this morning (Recognized by a Steemian) told, there were a few new Steemians (My friends
@gurb &
@lizzymontagne), friends of mine that I recently convinced to join this amazing platform. In addition, there were also interested people (my brother in law, who I expect to join Steemit in the near future as well). Because we are so enthusiastic, almost every conversation is about the blockchain, cryptocurrencies, Steem and Steemit. Which of course is fine.
After creating an account, people often do not post consistent and often enough. Inquiry at this new Steemians teaches us that they often find it too much work and energy. The reason is often that they say posting on facebook, instagram and, for example, Twitter is much easier. They feel as it will cost them too much effort to post things on Steemit. (Even while they know every post on Steemit will bring them at least a few cents which is always more than they ever made on those other social media platforms, they rather stick to what their mind know, instead of what their mind can learn)
After giving arguments about the time it'll cost to create content is the same, whether you're placing on the established social media or on this new platform, Steemit. The argument that you are too busy is simply not true. Everyone has time to create photos (Instagram), write sentences (Twitter) and photos and short stories (Facebook). Then you can of course use only Steemit for this. I believe that there is even the possibility to automatically post Steemit posts to your facebook account! Better than this clear we can not tell them. After all they have to write themselves to the so called grind.
Fellow Steemians, have the best day! And don't forget, Life is for living!
