Dear Steemians,
I'm basically super new to this plattform, so you can call me a Newbee/Noob etc. However I can code a bit, so I did scrolled around until I found out, that Steemit has an API (Application programming interface). An API is pretty usefull. Let's have a demonstration.

Ok, it's pretty simple huh. There is a user object, which contains your steem information.
Just simply add '.json' at the end of the steemit account.
Here are some examples:
At first I want to check my own balance. To do that. Just copy to your browser:
https://steemit.com/@s1241003.json
Ok, my new account is pretty empty.
Now lets find someone chilly to test it out. Let's have a look in the food section. Ok, this girl seems to be nice
