Facebook Mess gets Messier :-FaceBook App Collecting Android Data

In a new and recent revelation a programmer from New Zealand named Dylan Mckay was able to download a zipped file which contained his year long Call list, SMS and etc.

Facebook is supposed to collect our likes and dislikes or whatever we share on its platform. But Facebook collecting what other data is present in our phones is another example of how greedy the platform has become.

Android on the other hand upgraded its API recently which gives out clear warnings about the App using phone data.But this was done in the end of last year, sometime in October. Before that the Facebook App was acting as a spy hidden in your phone collecting your Call SMS Location etc.

Apple users were a safer lot as IOS doesnt allow third party collection of phone data. But the large number of Android users have been exposed to this breach.
