I want to start by saying that of all the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Black Widow and Captain America are my favorites and, after so much waiting, I was able to see this movie that gives closure to this character.
Black Widow is an American superhero, suspense and action film that was released this year, and its premiere was delayed three times due to the pandemic. And it was written by Eric Pearson and directed by Cate Shortland, with a small cast compared to other Marvel productions.
Do not worry if you are not a fan of the Marvel Universe you can see it and enjoy it without any problem, since it has no connection with the other films (except the post credit).
Now if we talk about the film, it is an independent story that takes place after what happened in Captain America: Civil War where Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) is a fugitive from justice. But without knowing that escaping he would find his family and an old enemy who he believed was dead.
From beginning to end the film has a good rhythm, and it tells us about the life of Natasha who had to go through a lot to get this far, with a little review of the events that marked her throughout her life; and thus leading us to know his deepest feelings. On the other hand it is full of spectacular sequences of action, moments of drama and some occasions of comedy.
I really did not want it to end, it seemed like a good movie and I was satisfied to know the beginnings of my favorite character. It's a good ending for a character as complex as this, who also never needs to have a super power to be an avenger. I also wanted to highlight the great work of the four main leads and the connection between them that is noticeable on screen: Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, David Harbor as Red Guardian, Rachel Weisz as Melina Vostokoff and Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova who with her role As a younger sister, her sincerity, grace and manner of being, will please you very much.
Thank you for reading!
