This area of the country has various large trees, one can visit. The more well known one is in the Knysna Forest, but this one is in the Wilderness area, where we were on Holiday.
It was a bit of a rainy day, but we braved the weather and did the short walk to the tree. The walk is through a beautiful indigenous forest.
This tree is an Outeniqua Yellowwood tree, of more than 800 years old. It is 33m long with a crown of 34m.
We enjoyed our visit to the tree, and went for a longer walk in the forest, on which I will write in a follow-up post.
I hope you enjoyed the post and that you have a wonderful day.
