Estate agents will always tell you; "Location, Location" it is supposed to be everything!! I am back to writing on our vacation, which we were on more than a month ago. For the last few days we stayed on Thesen Islands. In the past this used to be a timber processing plant, with it's own power station. Due to environmental issues, they decided to redevelop the Islands to residential properties. We rented a very small apartment, which basically consisted of the room in the photo above, with a small kitchenette and bathroom. It was very small, but it had location and catered for all our needs! It had a small garden, which was right on the waterway!! We even had our own jetty and a canoe!!
Below is a selfie of the two of us from the door of our apartment!! You can still see some of the old factory, which they kept intact and converted in a hotel - I must still post on the hotel as well at a later stage.
This was really an amazing part of our holiday, which we enjoyed a lot - and we had a beautiful apartment with LOCATION!!
