Old Railway bridge and some strange water snails.
Yesterday I wrote about some houses on Wilderness beach, today I am writing about the other side of the beach. Right at the end of the beach there are some rocks and an old unused railway bridge. You must remember this bridge, because at a stage I will be walking along the railway line, but I will leave that story on another day.
There is one piece of graffiti on the one side of the bridge.
Below you can see the view to the other side of the beach, as you can see it is quite a nice long sandy beach.
While walking on the beach we came across this washed up jelly fish, being eaten by some strange see snails.
I Googled it, these snails are called Plough Snails and you can read more about this by clicking on the link.
They are attracted by the smell of decaying animal matter.
They use the long tube to suck up the decaying meat of the dead animals they find on the beach.
I love it when I see some interesting things while walking on the beach.
