@dswigle: Menlyn Boot Sale!!
This is my submission for #MarketFriday as hosted by @dswigle, why don't you head over and submit your own post??
This time, I again visited a boot sale, the previous one, was quite a disappointment as there were almost nothing to see or buy!! This one was quite the opposite as it was busy, with a lot of people selling stuff.
The market basically consisted of a dirt road, with people lining both sides of the road with their stalls, under some nice big trees, supplying some very nice and welcome shade!!
Except for the food most of the items were second hand stuff. My wife found a hole number of old Police Academy cd's at R5,00 a cd, that she would like to show the kids at school, when they are not busy with school work, and I found a number 17 spanner, as the one I had in my set miraculously disappeared, just when I needed it, while working on my old kombi!!
We also bought some Dutch croquettes, to snack on while we were browsing through the stalls. It was nice to see all the stuff for sale and all the people doing some good business.
I hope you enjoyed the post as much as I enjoyed writing it.
The photos were taken by me, in Pretoria, South Africa, using my Samsung Phone.
