#Market Friday: Book Shop
I have completed my studies in the 80's and then some further studies in the early 90's. I have kept my text books since then and basically never referred back to them. Some of the books was still almost brand new, because I did not even use them much during my studies, although by now some of them were outdated!!
I decided to give them away, as they just took up a lot of unnecessary space in the house. We have a second hand bookshop not to far from where I stay and decided to donate the books to them.
When you walk into this shop, you get a specific smell, that one can only get in and old shop, full of old books!!
This shop is utter chaos!! There are books everywhere!! They buy and sell books and they receive book donations. They cannot get ahead to sort the books, and even the ones in the racks looks chaotic, but there are always people in the shop looking through the books!!
Stangely enough the owner knows where to find a book, if you are looking for a specific book.
You will note in the photo below, they also have some old Vinyl Records packed in crates on the floor.
If you love books, this is a very interesting shop to browse through, and you are sure to find something at a reasonable price.
This is my contribution to #MarketFriday as hosted by @dswigle why don't you head over and do a #MarketFriday post of your own?
I hope you enjoyed the post and that you have a wonderful day!
