Large Millipede!!
While I was walking through the veld, I came across this nice large Millipede. The name Millipede is derived from Latin, meaning a thousand legs. Millipedes however don't have a thousand legs, with the highest recorded legs being around 750!!
They are harmless to humans, but I know a girl who is terrified of them. They normally eat decaying plants. They roll themselves in a tight ball for defense.
The photo, below is for scale, showing the Millipede against my number 9 foot!!
I made a short video, showing the Millipede in action!! It is amazing how all those legs work together!!

I hope you liked the post as much as I liked writing it!!
I hope you have a wonderful day!!
