Day 3: Stop over at Pofadder!!
Pofadder is a small town where we made a quick stop for some coffee enroute to Port Nolloth? This was on the 3rd day of our road trip, but I skipped this stop as I wanted to use this post for #MarketFriday.
You can see that this is also very dry country, and this little town is really in the middle of nowhere!! Pofadder is the Afrikaans for Puff Adder, thus the town is actually named after a snake.
We stopped at this quaint little shop that had something of everything, from bread, to charcoal, to cake!!
Even some pot plants for sale.
They also had a small coffee shop hidden behind this old ox-wagon!!
This is a very basic coffee shop, but we enjoyed the experience!! The coffee was instant coffee, but at least it was good quality!!
They also had a sign on the wall showing us where we were, it was still quite a distance to Port Nolloth as you can see on the map, thus we hit the road again!!
