Curation Rewards
This is some stats from hivestats.io showing my earnings broken up into:
- All Time
- 7 Days
- 30 Days
If you look at my all time, you will note that my author rewards is much more than my curation rewards. I have always been curating a lot, but remember in the beginning, with your Hive Power low, the curation rewards will be almost nothing. As your power grow, obviously your curation rewards also grow.
If you look at my 7 Day and 30 Day stats, you will see that my curation rewards are now more than my author rewards. I must admit, that I am not an author with high rewards, but this shows you that one can still earn by curating and even commenting. (I don't know if one can find stats on what is earned by comments versus posts, this would also be an interesting stat.)
You will notice that my curation reward's APR is now at 8.26%. I see this is calculated, by using my current Hive Power of 16 240 and the weekly curation reward. I think this is a great APR %, this is something you will not receive with money in the bank!!
Thus with a little effort, you can earn a nice income from your Hive Power, just by curating!!
