Craft Beer @ Salty River Beer house

As you would most probably know by now, my wife and I went to a wedding on the past weekend, which was a long weekend in South Africa.

While we were away from home we also drove around a bit, and one of the pitstops we made was at the Salty River Brewhouse, where they also sell some great craft beer.

On the wall, you can see the prices in Rand for the various on tap beers! ($1.00 = R15.05) I decided to try the Voertsek IPA (Voertsek is a South African word used to tell a dog to go away)

The beer house is situated next to an open field with some donkeys walking there. We sat on the outside, which gave us a lovely view from our table.

Here you can see what the outside set up looks like.

The beer came in a decent 500ml glass, with a small head on top and a beautiful golden coloured body. It tasted great, with the hops coming through nicely.

I walked over to the donkeys to take a closeup photo, they looked in great condition.

At the end it was only the empty beer glass that was left and it was time to move on!!

I hope you liked the post as much as I liked writing it.

I hope you have a wonderful day!!
