Cappuccino's in Britstown
After having breakfast at the Marriott Hotel in Kimberley we hit the road to Willowmore, our next stopover on our way to the coast. After driving about 250km, we decided to stop at Britstown to have some coffee. Britstown was named after Hans Brits who settled there in 1877. The town is a small farming town with not much going on there.
We found an interesting coffeeshop and settled in a corner on the outside. They used an old cable drum as table and had a lot of stuff on the walls.
Here you can see my wife and I sitting at our table.
The Cappuccino's were great and we enjoyed our short break from driving.
The inside also has a lot going on, with the menu written on a blackboard against the wall.
There were also a few tables and couches on the inside where one could sit and relax, while enjoying your food and drinks.
As we hit the road out of town, we drove past this beautiful old church, which is quite large for such a small town.
