BeachWednesday: Walk on the Beach
Today, I am posting a #BeachWednesday post, although it is already Thursday. When visiting the coast, I love to go for long walks on the beach. We were staying in Hersham, which is just adjacent to the town of Mosselbay, in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
I walked from Hersham to the mouth of the Great Brak River and back. (I have marked my route with two X's on the map at the bottom.
The beach is quite long and quiet in the mornings, when I do my walking. The photo above is in the direction of Hersham.
As you can see the Great Brak River is not very big, but has a real deep dark blue colour to it, which make it look quite deep, but in actual fact it is not very deep at all, and one can walk through!!
I love to visit this part of the country, when going on vacation.
