Babel Fish Earbuds
The Babel Fish Earbuds enable near real time translation of a foreign language!! The product's name is based on a classic scy-fi novel, called "The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy". In this novel a fish is placed into the ear, and this enables direct translation of any foreign language!!
This version, by Google, uses a set of earbuds, named "Pixel Buds" coupled to the Pixel Smartphone.
To translate one person is holding the phone, while the other one has the earbuds in their ear. When the person wearing the earbuds speak, the language gets translated and the phone speaks to the person holding it and vice versa!! This device makes it possible for two people to speak to each other directly, without passing a device from the one to the other. It is as close as one will get too, two people speaking directly to each other in their mother tongues!!
