Today I would like to look at Colossians 3 verse 20 to 21
20)Children, obey your parents in everything, because this pleases the Lord.
21)Parents, don’t provoke your children in a way that ends up discouraging them.
Children must obey their parents as this pleases God, it is good in His eyes when children are obedient. In my Afrikaans Bible, verse 21 speaks to fathers directly and translated directly it says fathers must not always find fault with children as this will discourage them, we must also praise our children when they do good to encourage them.
