12 Year Anniversary!!
Today was our 12 year anniversary, and we decided to treat ourselves.
The 12 years felt like the blink of an eye, but on the other hand it felt like we were married for all eternity!!
Fist we went for a couples massage at our local Kai Thai Spa, and afterwards we went for some fine dining, for lunch.
When we arrived the restaurant had reserved a window table, strewn with red rose flowers.
Both of us went for some fancy crumbed snails for starters!! (You will note that in most of the food photos, some things are missing as I always remember to take photos, after I have already started eating.) The snails was delicious!!
Next they brought us some sorbet to cleanse our pallets!! I could hvae had this for dessert.
My wife's choice for the main meal was the ox-tail......
..... and I choose the bone marrow fillet!! We both enjoyed our food a lot.
We both had some pear tart and ice-cream and pecan nuts for dessert, again we loved it.
We ended with some nice cuppa chinos and cream.
Just as we were about to leave the waiter brought us some cake and a small drink on the house.
We had a great time celebrating our love for each other and our marriage of 12 years!! The best time is the time spent with our loved ones, and we need to ensure that we do it as much as possible!!
