Yeh it didn't stop when I stopped homeschooling, just got different XD

_{everyone that said I wouldn't know what to do with myself or that I would "have more free time when the kids grow up" apparently didn't know me at all/as well as they thought they did or I have no idea what they did or didn't do when their kids were younger}

The kids were fine, a little bit surprised that it was the two young chickens as opposed to the two oldest ones but Middle was glad that "her" chicken (one of the two oldest ones) was still kicking.

I don't think anyone considers caterpillars "good" because they nom on all the plants, but they do grow into moths and butterflies which are pollinators which are kind of really needed.

JJ has killed a few that were eating "his" fruit trees, and I have lost a couple of young plants probably to caterpillars but they at least seem to spread themselves out when there's a bunch of plants in close proximity whereas when it's just one plant somewhere (like the fruit trees at the moment as our gardens are still recovering) it gets smashed.

I just told this to JJ not that long ago and said how I think I'll plant flowers around the fruit trees to try and distract the caterpillars and whatnot and he said it couldn't hurt so we'll probably start that sometime soon.
