Plot twist: Valiant is actually right despite sounding like an insufferable jackass XD

I find it really hard to get into this type of mindset mainly because I really struggle with the thought process, do people actually think like that and take themselves seriously? You probably can't write it with a straight face either but how do you even figure out that mindset? I don't know where to start XD
