Ten years is supposed to be the magic number. Do one thing for ten years and the world will notice that you're doing it.

Maybe it works in multiples sometimes, I've been thinging my thing for 20 and people are kind of aware of what I'm doing now XD

_{in fairness to the world I was doing a hell of a lot of behind the scenes stuff for a very long time, there are some disadvantages to working in visual media x_x and not only that I have a massive aversion to advertising and self promotion so I basically refuse and the closest I come is bringing it up when it's somewhat relevant like now}

I can only hope that I get more notice than the negative comments about the representation I put in my books.

My sibling and I occasionally discuss all the various ways we'll be getting cancelled if our things ever hit a stage where people notice. I think we've covered almost everything between us XD

I guess there will always be someone somewhere looking for something to be outraged about.

Yeh I get this. I still have moments where I'm having little mini-meltdowns over my massive catch-22.
