Well you just can't tell some people no matter how hard you try XD

Actually had a very minor case of that recently with eldest. He's making a character for a roleplaying game and I told him to copy the headings of the character sheet into LibreOffice and pop in what he needed while using the (soft copy) book for reference.

He was too lazy to type all that out so insisted on doing things his own way with the editing capabilities of the pdf reader he was using til he realised that for whatever idiotic reason you can apparently only have one pdf open at any one time in this thing, and so he ended up pretty much doubling his workload by needing to do what I'd told him to do in the first place so he could proceed in a sane fashion XD
