It was the first time Bella actually ate something not fruit and she ate it all. She also ate chicken and potatoes, and two strawberries I was about to put in my mouth.

Again from JJ: "In the nature of babies." XD I don't know whether that was referring to her suddenly deciding to eat everything or just to the strawberries you were about to eat XD

Maybe you have nice grass. Some babies probably do have tactile issues with grass, in my limited experience they tend to dislike "prickly" grass (not sure how else to describe it, it's kind of stiff and stabby especially when cut short) whereas soft fat grass or soft really thin grass seems to get rolled in.
