Reading through the tutorial post, I was so happy I joined the initiative because the information being given out here are information I feel everyone on Hive should know about. Losing ones account and everything in it can be very painful thus one should always take the security of their account very seriously.
Today I will be giving a detailed response (to the best of my capabilities) to the questions asked in the task three of the Newbies Initiative.
Like I said, the tutorial was filled with a lot of information I didn’t even know exist. Things like discovery accounts was new to me. I didn’t even know there was a hiveblocks website that has a lot of informations about our Hive accounts. I also learned about every key and it’s importance to my account.
One thing I did go home with after reading the tutorial was where to save my keys. I used to feel safe saving them on notepads and Gmail but it looks like that isn’t the safest of options so now I will be writing it down on my diary instead, every last one of those keys would be written down in my diary by name tonight and I will make sure to go through them just to make sure I don’t make any mistakes before erasing them from my notepad and gmail, leaving just my posting key on my gmail so that I can easily copy and paste it whenever I need it.
This is also a part of the tutorial that I’m very grateful for as I had no idea about this up until I read the tutorial. Well now, I will be walking you guys through the process of how to check your discovery account. To check your recovering account is quiet simple, all you have to do is go to https://hiveblocks.com/@username the place where “@username” is written will be changed to your hive username.

The process to recover an account isn’t really as stressful as I initially thought it would be. I guess setting a recovery account makes everything so simple.
The first thing we do is visit this link : https://reazuliqbal.com/HiveAccountRecovery/
So I think that’s all guys. Thanks for reading to the end.
