My boy loves ladybugs! If you happened to read one of my previous posts, I already made him a pair of ladybugs with colored paper and last night I felt like making a few more...
I printed some at school, as I don't have a printer at home (and I think I may need to buy one soon to print educational material for Little Man). Then my red and black markers got to work!
Coloring, cutting and laminating came soon after!
In less than half an hour we had a bunch of ladybugs hanging out in our living room.
I arranged them like this on the living room table and went to bed. I was curious to see my boy's reaction the next morning when he'd see them! I wasn't sure whether he'd like them or not.
The following morning, once we woke up and entered the living room I told him to look at the table. His expression was priceless! He stood looking at them and then started spinning around himself with joy and excitement. A few moments later he was turning them into phones, putting them on his ear and saying "yes, yes" - My God, sometimes I can't handle this cuteness!
Today I printed some pirate pictures, as he also loves pirates! We took some colored pencils and started painting them. Of course he got bored after a while and started tearing the paper, but at least he enjoyed it despite the mess he made.
