Today I want to talk a bit about #Hive.
The recent deep drop across the entire crypto market made me stop and think.
Is there really a future for cryptocurrencies? Am I still on the right path?
Iโve been buying Hive over different years, at very different prices. And, as you can probably guess, I never bought it at $0.06272 (according to #CoinGecko, just one day ago). I honestly never imagined we would end up here. Naturally, my investments are deep in the red right now.
Still, I used what remained of my funds to buy more coins, roughly around $0.07.
I could have spent that money on myself, on family trips, or simply put it into one of the top-10 coins. Instead, I chose to stick with Hive.
Not because itโs fashionable.
Not because itโs profitable right now.
But because I still believe in this network.
What I donโt see here is panic. And that matters.
Those who remain are people who understand why they came in the first place โ and who believe in slow, steady, and resilient development rather than quick hype.
Yes, there are problems.
Yes, there are open questions.
But Iโm convinced that the right path will eventually be found.
From time to time, I reread a set of rules I came across many years ago. Iโm not even sure if they originally existed in English โ I only had them in Russian. Below is my translation, as close to the original meaning as possible.

Every coin is a soldier of your freedom. Donโt drain your army on nonsense.
First, pay yourself โ then everyone else.
Those who get rich are not the ones who earn a lot, but the ones who manage their money properly.
Money must work, not lie idle.
Greed is stupidity. But generosity without wisdom is even worse.
Want gold? Learn patience and discipline.
True wealth is built in crisis, not in comfort.
A financial cushion is not a luxury โ it is a necessity.
Check every investment โ even if itโs your best friend.
Maybe this will help someone make a clearer decision.
Or at least pause and think twice.
