Hello.

I created a new youtube channel and this is my first ever video I record for this channel. In this tutorial* you'll see me sketching some ideas and my thought process while doing it. I sketch 3 different dagger design and ended up selecting some features from each one and designing a 4th one to paint.

The process is shown in the video in detail. The brush set I am using called "Evenant Concept Art Brush pack" and the main brush I am using here called "texture brush 1"

Subscriptions are highly appreciated but not necessary

Brush I used :

Texture Brush 1
General Hard Round Brush
Mixer Brush with texture brush 1

Overall this painting took me 55 minutes from start to finish. If you spend another hour for rendering tiny details the final product will look more beautifull. Since I am not trying to have a finished product for a game and i am trying to show the basics of the process, fine rendering is not needed here.

You do not really need fancy brushes to make a 2D game asset for your game. You can do just fine with normal brushes.
