I don't think anything happens without a cause.

If you had enough data and computing power, causality since the big bang might very well prove that free will actually does not exist (to some, because proof doesn't always mean it's proven to everyone)

but if you could you could practically ray-trace the whole timeline because every moving particle is set in motion by a previous action

action-reaction , causality, does not imply "a reason behind it" necessarily

but if you COULD do that, you could basically (well , practically, predict the future lol since brains are made of particles and we're all chemical scum)

possible, neither has been proven since its beyond omega to do so

but what i wanted to say is : there is a cause when you're angry, always, even if you cant see the reason

it might be fysiological

http://www.chemistryislife.com/the-chemistry-of-anger

https://www.mentalhelp.net/articles/physiology-of-anger/

well, its actually ALWAYS fysiological but that doesn't mean the origin is, the origin can be environmental (for lack of the current 2018 pro-word)

anger and fear stem more or less (stem, lol) from the same region in the brain hence the explanation of fight <-> flight reactions, that part decides in any given situation wether you fight (anger) or flee (fear) by releasing / generating the appropriate chemicals (yea your brain decides that, and that's why in todays world its often hard to understand why you react in a certain way, its primitive impulses and chemicals)

by fysiological i mean chemical imbalance caused by actual damage, disease, virii or , well, certain ages have certain types of moodswings, don't they

if the case is damage, it can still be corrected with medication, however this should be an absulute last resort and only after thorough examination by medical professional, definitely get an MRI too

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_resonance_imaging

i personally don't believe in the "all-neuro" approach ... the body and the brain, brain fist balances itself, so a lot can be caused by stress or other circumstances (stress is in essence the inability to adapt fast enough to changing situations ... in essence, another five essays)

It's true that it's all chemical, no doubt, but even an imbalance can be caused by environmental factors (does it show i wanted a bach in psychology but there was no job to afford the €14k at O.U. ?)

so if it's environmental medication should be limited to a period of adaptation at most, while you look for the underlying cause, like it or not, the brain hasnt evolved for a lot longer than the birth of your baby jesus overthere so all the primitive bits are still in it, which translates to various ailments in modern society, often hard to discern since you're not really running away from lions and bears and you're not bonking the next caveneighbours head in to get his wife (in most cases hahah)

if you find the root of the problem and you're able to fix that, the balance will restore itself over a period of time, resident stress is ofcourse possible for a while but all in all if the root cause is taken away it should heal.
that's why symptomatic treatment is often not a solution : you can suppress or counter EVERYTHING with the counter elements and chemicals if you only know what they are, but if you dont take away the root cause you will have to medicate indefinitely.

If there's actual damage to any part of the brain , that's when medication can be a permanent solution (in a lot of cases .. for some reason human vermin is quite resilient, even with missing parts)

so you ask yourself why do i get angry without a reason but i think you should be asking yoursel "why do i get angry right now, period"

introspection was somewhat banned from psychology as a method because humans are quite subjective when it comes to interpretation, even to yourself, since about any memory you have is already "coloured" by your own perception of the situation by the time you have it, and the more time passes the more it can get "adapted"

However, the hippies brought it back in their mindfulness obsession wave so its an option, you can try to analyze the situation your life is in, it might be something completely unrelated to work or school. You might be a teenager, you might be middle-aged, tons of possibilities

if you got the money, you could get professional help to help you find out, its not a stigma to see a psychologist, but there's as many frauds who just treat it like a helpdesk nailpolish girl and go over the list in the book without really listening or trying to understand as there are dedicated people who are driven by what they do and because they are they do it better, they didnt just do it because its "a job" , they do it because its what they do, they're interested and curious, they basically NEED to find out and understand

that's the ones you want ...

end with a little annec ... my cousin's husband is a psychologist, havent met them much but last time as we did we got talking and he said he quit the field for another line of work ... and i'm like ??!?

and he said "i think there's already enough council who are actually trying to fix themselves"

so probably the world is missing one good psych now lol

bon, six page essay, that should be worth the 50 cents or a dollar dont you think ?
