সীমান্তের ঐ শেষটা জুড়ে দগ্ধ পরীর খেলা
প্রভাত দেশে ভাসিয়েছে কৃষ্ণ মেঘের ভেলা ।
উদ্ভাসিতর পাশটা জুড়ে শঙ্কা জাগে মনে
ধর-পাকরের মরণ হাওয়া বইছে যে কোন বনে ?
কাক-কোকিলের বাড়িতে আজ ঘর বাচানো দায়
বাবুই পাখি দ্বারে বসে আল্লাহ আল্লাহ গায় ।
পল্লবেরা হেসে উঠে অমৃতে মাখা ছন্দে
তালের বিশাল গাছও নাচে সঙ্গীতের আনন্দে ।
ঘুমকাতুরে স্বপ্ন বুনে ঘুমের দেশটা জুড়ে
মনযে তখন মায়ের সাথে পাকেরঘরে ঘুরে ।
কবিও যে তার নিয়ন আলোয় ছন্দ খুজে
রসিক তাহার ডায়রি পাতায় পুরাণ স্বপ বুঝে ।
