For me, hive promotion is a vital part of what we do down here in Ghana. As much as we love to blog and earn, we also love to help get people on board. People who can help in making a difference on the platform.
Am an active hive promoter all though I’ve not taken my promotional activities to the next level. I do try my best to educate people about hive from time to time. I’ve been able to get people to sign up too and some of them are having a great time here.
For me, I learn new things about hive each day. I must admit that I didn’t think the hive ecosystem was this broad but after being here for almost a year I can say there is still a great deal of things to learn. There are several ways in which one can learn about hive.
We have seen some people taking the hive promo to next level. Some people help others learn about hive by wearing their t-shirts for their day to day activities. Others make sure they promote flyers. For others they use exercise books in making the promotion of hive a successful one.
For me, I have a hive shirt. I think one of the most effective ways of promoting hive is through the t-shirt. The T-shirt speaks for itself. Even without asking you anything the person can easily search about hive.blog and the information will be there for him or her to learn from.
I for one saw this first hand when we went on a donation with our hive shirts. We visited an orphanage but on the way to the orphanage we raised a lot of awareness about the hive shirt. People in our school saw us in the t-shirts and this made the inquisitive ones ask questions. Well, we were glad some asked as we saw it as an opportunity to teach them about hive. It was a wonderful experience, Infact it made the work easier. Some couldn’t believe there was a social media which pays you for your effort on the platform.
I think the hive t-shirt is the simplest way and fastest way of promoting hive to a population. You don’t need to say a word. The shirt does the talking for you. All you need to do is wear the shirt to wherever you are headed. There are some who are shy to ask questions but then some will definitely approach you.
For those who can’t approach you there is a tendency to see the hive. blog written boldly on the shirt. For me I think if a lot of you are wearing it then it raises more awareness and people get easily attracted and more inquisitive.
I don’t just have the hive shirt. I also have the hive book. This book has been super helpful. I am a student and as a matter of fact I take the hive book for lecturers most of the time. Anytime my colleagues see it they take it and pay close attention to what is written on it. For some who might not know, there’s a lot of information on the hive book.
At the back of the book is a brief note about what hive is all about. The book is the next good thing to me. Apart from the hive shirt I think the book is another great tool. But then the hive shirt is an undisputed champion.
