The flairtending (or also known as flair), is the acrobatic modality of cocktails. Very widespread in the United States, but globalized in several countries of the world where increasingly skilled and specialized bartenders leave this modality.

In the flair there are two fundamental modalities: the working flair (flair of work) and the exhibition flair (exhibition flair).

Working flair:
Working flair is a fast, light flair that uses realistic movements that can be made without slowing down customer service. Most of the working flair includes glasses, one or two bottles, cocktail shakers and fruits. The Working Flair always runs in the process of making a cocktail or a drink.

Exhibition flair:
The Flair Exhibition is practiced as a show and entertainment in bars or competitions and usually includes routines of choreographed movements and longer. Generally, it requires special preparation. It is a style of flair that is not realized in the day to day of a bar, since it would slow down the service, however, there is a growing number of bars around the world that prepare shows of this type as part of their entertainment maneuvers. The Flair of Exhibition includes tricks with 2, 3, 4, and 5 bottles (never with more than 60 ml of liquid, to favor the turn) and movements and routines that are not carried out in the process of preparing drinks.
It is common to see the flair in nightclubs and night spots where they hire specialized bartenders in this modality.

Now I’m letting a Dtube video which I will show some movements and basic flair routine for those who are interested in this type of practice.
