Nature / A n i m a l s

A gem that has been sitting on my computer for a long time. I remember the day. I was driving to Veenendaal to take some photographs of one of the nearby parks. It was close to Utrecht (I believe).

This photograph was taken when the Sun was about to go under. We call this magic hour, or the golden hour, as it usually takes about an hour or a little over one hour until the Sun sets. During this Sunset, particles of dust that are floating around in the skies are being illuminated by the Sun. This is what creates and makes these magnificent Sunsets so beautiful. It's always nice to photograph a bit before Sunset, softer Sunlight, more dusty particles, and more drama in your pictures!
Cheers,
Ruben
