How to post an ad:

Send a request to post on the classifieds using the methods at the bottom of this post. The request should include the ad itself. Please read the submission rules for posting further down.
I will send you back a Pirate z-address for payment with a confirmation code. The current fee to post is 1 ARRR.
Send 1 ARRR with the confirmation code I sent you to the z-address. Put the confirmation code in the memo field of the transaction.

That's it! I will re-post, for free, every ad in a new Hive.blog post on those days to keep the submissions updated.

Posting and Content rules:

Every post should have a title for the ad. For example: "Pieces of Eight for Sale"

Please describe the item as well as possible. What would you want to know if you were buying it? Blank or short descriptions are easy to ignore.

Include a price for the item/s sold, even if all you say is negotiable or spot price. It can be priced in dollars, but it must ask for payment in ARRR.

You may include 1 photo of the submission. I will place it under the ad title, but you may request different placement if you wish. I may raise the one photo limit if it's possible.

Be reasonable with the post. No selling heroin or hookers. I have no problem with this if that's your life, but I am certified cage-free and would like to stay that way. I won't post illegal stuff.

Include a way to contact you in the post. I suggest private messengers like Reticulum, Briar, Matrix, or Signal. I am not endorsing any of these protocols or apps, or even saying they are 'good' or private. Do your own research. You may even post your z-address and use the memo field to communicate. More options are probably better than less.

I will probably need to do some light editing to format the post. Hive.blog has it's own formatting options that may not match how you sent me the ad, so I may change it to make it look better. I won't change any of the content of the post. I will only change font size, spacing and bolding. If I see an obvious error or omission, or I need to change something else not listed above, I will contact you for more information.

If any of the above Posting and Content rules aren't followed, I may not post your ad. I will let you know before taking payment if anything needs to be changed.

Please give 24 hours for a response to a request to post. I will check at least once a day, but I have other responsibilities.

If you want a limit to how long you want the ad re-posted, please let me know. Example; 30 days, one week, etc.

I will periodically ask if you want me to keep posting your ad. Perhaps every few months, I'll have to see what's reasonable. If you don't respond in 3 days, your ad will no longer be posted. You may make a new posting with the old ad by paying the fee and re-sending a request.

The old posts that contain your ad will stay on the hive blockchain forever and can only ever be removed from it if/when the hive blockchain and it's potential forks stop running.

Keep in mind that the internet always remembers. Be mindful that what is posted here may be here longer than your lifetime.
