According to Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson, Cardano is expected to see significant updates in the next 2-3 months. The Alonzo update will be in late April or early May. Alonzo hard fork will allow users to deploy decentralized applications on Cardano."For the first time ever, publicly, people will be able to write smart contracts and use them in Cardano," said Charles Hoskinson regarding smart contracts.

After the addition of smart contracts, a significant distance will have been made for Cardano. In early March, we can say that Cardano is much closer to Ethereum when considering the Mary update.

"The smart contracts will be run on Cardano's Plutus platform," Hoskinson said. Professional software companies and Plutus developers also stated that they will test the platform. Also, Charles Hoskinson said, "If our partners like Binance and Coinbase want to make a few updates before putting the Alonzo hard fork on the mainnet, we can wait 1 month." said.

The fact that the Cardano team strives to do better by working continuously shows how seriously they take this job, and success will come as a result of these efforts.

Also, Cardano (ADA) released the Mary update on March 1, and investors viewed it positively. Cardano entered the DeFi world with Mary. With this update, users will be able to create new tokens and NFTs on the network.
