Sirens, all day, all night. That is one of the things that has really stuck out to me. During my jet lag last week I would wake up at 2 or 3am and as soon as I got up I would usually hear an ambulance. Then every hour or so I'd hear another one and it's been non-stop.
While walking to the supermarket the other day I saw this house being torn down. An old woman used to live in it. My guess is she succumbed to the vax induced covid.
When I did get to the market I noticed that a lot of the lighting had been turned off, overhead, in the coolers, etc. My wife informs me it's part of the new "Eco" initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint. Private jets are exempt of course.
With all the gloom here the government is taking a step to alleviate the dire state of things though, encourage people to drink more!

The COVID restrictions have devastated the booze industry and with it a source of tax revenue for the gov. So they are starting an ad campaign to promote alcohol consumption.
Even with all the gloom, things could be a lot worse, like back in the states where everyone is being pitted against one another.
I'm getting ready to head down to Kansai, Kyoto, Osaka & Kobe for almost 2 weeks. Hopefully I can bring some nice stories from there to HIVE.
Thanks for reading!
