It's Three Tune Tuesday here in Japan. I've been doing a lot of driving recently and I wanted to share some of the tunes I've been listening to.
First up is The Cult. I swear "Love" was an album from The Cult that was a rip in the fabric of our reality straight from Steven King's The Dark Tower. These dudes from the UK took the old American West & Native Americans and encapsulated it all into song. I have listened to this album since I was in 8th grade and it has often been my soundtrack while traversing the lonely desert roads of California, Nevada & Utah. It's hard to pick one song from the album, but if I had to it would be "Hollow Man"
Next up is another tune from one of the biggest bands of the 80's, Duran Duran. "The Morning After" was such a great song. The catchy synths were something Duran Duran integrated so well into their tunes. A side note, their loose suits style clothing is the rage for boy bands in East Asia right now.
Last up is the wild card, Talk Talk's "It's My Life".
Enjoy your drives!
Thanks to @boxcarblue for introducing me to #TTT and
@ablaze for dreaming it up.
