Is America about to shoot itself in the foot with tariffs?

Additional tariffs on EU goods might actually resolve trade issues between Washington and the bloc according to Donald Trump.

He added that he actually wants to avoid sanctions, hoping the EU will reduce the trade imbalance itself. European agricultural ministers have also warned that some small food firms may face a fight for survival, if tariffs are actually imposed.
